In 2025, under the strategic framework of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED) and the Southeast Asia Youth Sustainable Development Foundation (PASITA) jointly launched the China-ASEAN Industry-Education “Core” Initiative.
The “Core” Initiative focuses on youth development in Southeast Asia by connecting educational institutions with industry resources, providing young people with hands-on opportunities in real work environments, and fostering a new generation of regional talent equipped with professional skills and an international perspective.
As more Southeast Asian youth engage in international exchanges, practical projects, and cross-cultural collaboration, their experiences of exploration, challenges, and growth in real workplace settings have become a meaningful reflection of regional youth cooperation.
To document these valuable experiences and share authentic stories from youth participating in international exchanges and internship practices, PASITA has specially launched the “Talent ‘Core’ Initiative · Youth Internship Experience Story Collection”.
Through these stories, we hope to inspire more young people to explore the opportunities and possibilities of cross-cultural practice, while promoting the exchange and transmission of experiences and insights among youth.
